Dennis G. Baack , Executive Director
A former farmer and Nebraska State Senator from Western Nebraska, Baack received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Colorado State University and did post-graduate work at Loyola University in Chicago, IL.  During his tenure in the Nebraska Unicameral, Baack served as chairman of the Government, Miitary, and Veterans' Affairs Committee and vice-chairman of the Education Committee.  He also served as Speaker of the Legislature, for two years prior to his employment with the Association in 1993.

In his capacity as executive director, Baack has been appointed to several statewide boards, councils, and commissions by Nebraska's governor.  Currernt memberships include:

Melanie L. Williams , Administrative Assistant
Williams, a graduate of Southeast Community College - Lincoln with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Administration/Accounting, began working for the Association in 2000.  She serves as secretary/receptionist and bookkeeper, and produces the system directory and various other publications.
